About Project: OSQ

The phenomenon of the Otaku Senshi has been growing in the last years. It becomes increasigly difficult to be original because it seems that everything has already been seen in the Sailor Moon Universe. But even so, each day, more senshi are created, surprising us sometimes with such original concepts, color schemes and stories that they are the perfect reason for surfing the web in search of things to see.

Project: OSQ started as a very abstract idea in my head one day, and I decided to see what other people thought of it, by posting the little I had thought up in my forum. The response was quite good, and I thought it would be great to create my own clique type site, with a little twist to it. So I started outlining the ideas, and talking with Lorelei, the one that has been moving me on into concreting this page.

The idea for this clique is to create a quilt of tiny icons featuring the different Otaku Senshi ever created on the net. To see a big image made of small links to different sites is what I saw in my head, and I hope I can see it for real soon. For that, I need YOU to join this project, so we can see the quilt grow!

About: I have been in the Otaku Senshi buisness since the fifth time I saw Sailor Moon, about 8 years or so ago (I've forgotten the count by now). My own senshi, the Elementals, are around 5 to 6 years old, and have been growing slowly and changing over that time. I also enjoy making images, graphics and lately, layouts for the interent, since I enjoy seeing nice, stylized final products. Since my university studies are aimed in this direction, I have taken my online projects at heart as practice for the future.

About: Well, I've been around the Otaku Senshi community for a while now, dabbling in edits, hand-drawn sketches, and finally settling in pixel art. I'm the owner of Sailor Syrin and a whole host of others on my site, so go check it out ^_^. I'll be the one to mainly keep this site in order from now on.

About: I'm a basic jack-of-all-trades, dabbling in sprites, web graphics, layout design, HTML, edit art, actual art, cging, etc. Anything you ask, I can pretty much do in the art/web design department(probably except for Java--).

Since the site is just beggining we are only two people, and for now, I think it's enough. As we grow, we will probably need people who can edit sprites, can make icons and have knowledge of html to help us maintain the page. If you think you have the right requirements, send us a mail with your information and what you can do, plus some examples of your work.
